Can you use the two middle pickups at at the same time? i.e. select the middle position with the switch?

Decided to get riskey and went for the golden hardware'd Black Cherry. Waiting for the stock to arrive, hoping I will get my hands on it soon... I think the guitar sounded very good in the demo, especially the single coil voice impressed me, something I didn't expect.

I didn't know until recently that Epiphone was the first to make a chambered body and didn't use it until their modern guitar 🎸 series even before Gibson! I always thought Gretsch did.

Is this guitar good for classic 70s, 80s and early 90s rock like Guns N Roses and Motley Crue ? I don't know if it's mainly aimed for metal since the pickups are active, I already have a guitar with EMG 81/85 so I'm looking for a guitar that can do lighter classic rock.

This guitar has more sound options thanks to the pickup switching, however the neck profile is pretty different to a Gibson, so if you like how your one plays I’d say keep it until you get to try one of these in person 😊
