The breaking point was JJ Dillon resented the fact that Vince made him relocate and then cut his money.

The only thing I disagree with, it's not reverse sexual harassment, it's just plain sexual harassment. Just because it's a woman doing it to a man, doesn't make it reverse. Saying "reverse" implies that only men can harass, and that's clearly not true. She was his boss and acted unprofessionally, yelling to make sure her room was next to his. Either way, he was smart to leave when he did. Don't need the headache. Of course, he went back to WCW, and that place was the biggest headache of them all.

Women can get away with a lot of things in the workplace that men can't especially now with all the #MeToo stuff going on. Every male is looked at as a possible rapist in today's culture.

Great interview. JJs book Wrestlers Are Like Seagulls is outstanding. It's out of print but you can find copies on Amazon. It's well worth the price and a must read for die hard fans of the business like myself.

People who were taken care of by Vince never seem to put too much criticism on him at all. It's interesting to hear shoots from a plethora of wrestling people on Vince. And I suspect good or bad most of it's true
@wrestlethon917
@wrestlethon917 3 жыл бұрын
Vince is a very powerful man don't ever forget that he can make you or break you. Everyone in the industry rather be made then broken by Vince because they know if Vince breaks them he will drain them. For one he'll sue the pants off them, blackball them to the point they'll never find work. Just look at Chris Benoit's son David Benoit for example. Nobody wants to hire David Benoit in their wrestling promotion especially not WWE. Because of what his father may or may not have done. But yet more wrestlers and no wrestlers in the business merely sell their souls just to be on that grand stage at WrestleMania and to be in the WWE hall of Fame.

@@vargas1569 The fact that I have to explain empathy to you is also a bit sad. See, I don't know this person personally, nor do I know where he's from, but I still empathize with his situation, because I can put myself in his shoes, and I can understand his pain. He fears the unknown, much like we all do, and he's worried that his children aren't actually his. He also feels betrayed, and that's another unpleasant emotion. Most people are able to do this because of empathy, so we don't actually NEED to KNOW the person, because we possess the ability to understand and share the feelings of another, which is the definition of empathy. Do you understand it now?

JJ is like your dad and your grandpa all rolled into one. He looks the same as he did 25 years ago. JJ being brutally honest here, and I completely understand about a person doing certain, subtle things that are flirtatious and makes you uncomfortable, and I'll leave it at that. 😄 I've heard countless people saying the same thing....Vince wouldn't ask you to do anything that he wouldn't do. I remember Bret Hart talked about when he returned and had the match with Vince, that Vince told him to beat the pi$$ out of him with the chair and don't hold back.
