Billy doesn't look to be in as much pain as he did awhile back. Hope that keeps up. I shook hands with Billy back in 1973. I was 13 years old and my god I worshipped him. Huge arms and even though a heel he talked to me like I was his best buddy.

Ofc he did ! He stole Billy’s whole act. Hulk went to track down Billy Graham at a bar and then peppered him with question on how to get into wrestling. Billy guided him and eventually trained Hogan in weight lifting. Hogan owes his career to Superstar Billy Graham.

Superstar Billy Graham was never a great "wrestler" per se but the guy had a HUGE amount of charisma. He definitely knew how to get a reaction from fans. Hogan patterned his whole character after the Superstar. I know Superstar has had his issues and has strained some relationships but the guy was an innovator that definitely changed the way the business was viewed.

Vince did for many years-despite Graham having invented stories during the sex & drugs scandals from 1991-1992. He went back to Vince with his begging bowl in 1993/1994-writing him a cringeworthy apology letter & was eventually bought back, inducted into the HOF & given a job. As soon as that job ended Vince was Satan again & he ended up hawking his HOF ring. Some years back he was talking about blocking people from following him on social media because they wouldn't donate any money to him, or they weren't 'donating enough' for his latest begging episode. The reality is Graham is a very greedy person, a scammer as he admitted in his excellent book & totally obsessed with money. Nobody owes him anything-he was paid for his wrestling & his awful announcing on house shows & SummerSlam 1988. Vince was generous enough to give him a job after he had tried to help put Vince out of business & then he threw it all back in Vince's face.

I love The Superstar and I love Hogan but I don't know what the real deal is all about but if I were Hogan I would have wrote Billy Graham a Million Dollar check on the spot for stealing his gimmick and making Millions off of copying the Superstar.
