I have a tip for Naomi when you whip whipped cream put your bowl in the freezer for a while and put a towel over the mixer while it’s whipping. I love that all of your kids are all so into cooking and doing things in the kitchen. That is going to benefit them so much in their future. Try taste of home recipes. They come from home cooks that are tried and true.Love watching your families videos.

I remember after having my third baby I got the shakes. I was in recovery and the nurse (happened to be a male) said he was going to secure the straps on the gurney because he was afraid I was going shake off the table. The shakes were uncontrollable. He said it was my body reacting to having the baby. It was like I was going into shock. I don’t know the medical terminology but just remember my body literally almost coming off the gurney I was shaking so bad. I think I had 5 heated blankets on top of me.

I like a video where I can follow along to a visual tutorial, especially the first few times I make it Also Ina Garten books, Food Network has some great recipes w videos embedded on their page (i.e. not hosted on You Tube) And I have some great recipe books from the 80s that my mother gave me 🥰

My family loves Alfredo! I made it equal parts butter heavy cream and fresh Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste. It’s delicious! My kids won’t eat the jarred sauce! They say it’s gross! We eat it probably twice a month and sometimes I make it for lunch. We also homeschool.

Yes! My mom’s recipe is an Americanized version so it calls for cottage cheese but Naomi really wants me to substitute ricotta (which is the traditional cheese for lasagna). She’s a foodie 🥰
