All right! First off Mike hope you are feeling better & that whatever you are dealing with wasn't serious! Second, these are absolutely gorgeous and while I'm not a big manga fan you are truly inspiring me to check out more! I really like the fact that you mentioned that these are bigger than your average reader's digest sized editions...so I think if I could find more editions like that than maybe.. I also seen to be drawn towards darker, horror styled manga (I'm a Metalhead what can I say ?!) Great job from Lehmann bindery as usual!!!

Thank you! Definitely feeling a lot better! Getting new custom binds helps 😂 Manga has been fun to dive into as long as I can avoid the temptation of buying too much! Hopefully over time there will be more oversized and hardcover versions coming out. Some manga publishers are experimenting but it’ll be a while before they’re on a western comic level of releasing various editions of a story

Some times when I do these projects I really hope someone from a publisher stumbles upon the video and gets inspired. Probably never happens but if you’re watching Kodansha the people want colossal hardcover releases of AoT haha

These look incredible. Gonna rebind them as well at some point even tho i have the German hardcovers. But they are only 2in1 so they take up to much space and i like big formats. Love ur rebind projects also the Death Note rebind was one of the first videos which got me interested in binding my Mangas since i am also a huge HC lover and collect only HC-Versions.

We have a video on preparing trade paperbacks for binding, you should be able to find them by searching “prep” on our channel. You would just need to find a bindery that could put the pages in a hardcover for you - we have some videos on binderies for Canada and the US
