Hey Ed, Time to leave a comment again. After nearly 4 months of playing harmonica Cindy is my first in depth lesson im naerly done with. Hours of hard work and frustration getting there step by step and bar by bar. The bends and scoops are not 100% on point all the time but im getting there. Your lessons teached me how to tongue block and bend the infamous 3rd hole. I really like your way teaching it and im looking forward to john henry and lost john after cindy. Also i will catch up the level 3 course as soon as there will be a discount ( hopefully). Cant wait for more Hobo and old timey lessens. Thanks for your hard work and greetings from germany!

Hey that's great to hear. Well done for sticking with it. As you know- this is the only way! daily practice and a strong routine, dedication and hard work. I'm glad you're enjoying it too. Ed

When you started belting out the lyrics at 7.20 I smiled very broadly. Great tune! Bit advanced for me right now but something to look forward to

Would love to see some full length old time tune performances here, maybe with some guitar or fiddle backup even. An album of old time harmonica stuff on bandcamp would be more then welcome as well, great (new) old time harmonica recordings are in short supply right now
Great one! I find this one easier on a Paddy Richter tuned harp since it allows me to avoid those bends on 3 draw.

Great stuff Ed, you're right no one else is doing this ole timey stuff, you make it so fresh. Good use of the shaker, works well. You may have to include those baubells in the background next time,😁 keep going pal you're lesson's are so unique, in a good way obviously 😎👍

Oh wow! I dug up an old harmonica that someone gave me as a gift 25 years ago, was surfing KZbin looking for (beginner) lessons, saw a bunch, mostly blues which I dig.. but.. I play old-time (clawhammer) banjo and your page feels like coming home!! It is a little advanced for me though, do you have any recommendations for resources for brand spanking new beginners that wanna learn old-time and country blues harmonica? Thank you!

@@haraldgundersen7303 The way it works with the In Depth Lessons is when you purchase a lesson the Video and PDFs are sent direct to your email to download and keep. This means you don't even need an internet connection to access and the files are yours forever.
