Great game. I was at a wedding during this game but I remember having to constantly watch the sports ticker on espn at the bar to get the scoring updates while the game was being played, and I was shocked and happy to see the highlights of the win moments later. Yeah I don't live in Iowa and I didn't have the Big Ten Network at the time.

i was in Burger Hall as a freshman watching this game with my roommate. suddenly everybody ram out off their room and screaming and cheering. gosh time needs to slow down!

If there's one team in the Big Ten that I really dislike it's Michigan State. I remember how they had so many "injuries" during last year's game when Iowa was marching down the field.

Sammy Shellenbarger Iowa is about like MSU, history wise. They are both good teams though look at the schools they have to play year in and year out: OSU, UofM, PSU, and Wisconsin!!! In my opinion, if you can hang with those schools pretty much every year your not bad at all.

I believe that is a new rule. I may be wrong, but the only foul at that time was leading with the head.

Nope, at that time it was any helmet-to-helmet. It was recently changed to leading with head, which would result in targeting.
