I don't know why everyone is so hysterical over Detroit. We were playing with a mostly ,2nd string defensive front and held them to 118 rushing yards. The Hawks offense box scores were better than Detroit in everything but score. In a rematch with our 1st string defense it's a different story......I want a rematch

Definitely think preserving our d line guys for that niners game is more important than beating detroit, js a shame watching the game realizing how we were potentially a bad opi call away from a different outcome, imagine how good itd be with our d line in
@elaineres1Ай бұрын
Absolutely. I'm sure that's the plan. I'm also sure McDonald and Grubbs have a few surprises they've been saving for the Miners. Agree about the OP. Finally get national attention BUT those who know that we were playing mostly backups gave the Hawks their due.

The people who get mad at DK for fighting for extra yards are the same that get mad at Lockett for going down without contact
@TheHawksNest12thmanАй бұрын
Lol, that's for sure.

fans that want DK to not use effort for more yards are just uneducated fans...and they would be the first to complain if he started to ignore making that effort...smh...

In my opinion, the three turning plays of this game were: 1) DK fumbles the ball in Detroit territory, Lions score on ensuing drive, 14-0, DET. 14-point swing on the fumble. 2) Seattle scores to make it 28-20, with under 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Decide to go for a two point conversion, unsuccessful. 3) Detroit scores on the next possession, 1 play 70 yards, 35-20 DET. A 9 point swing on the failed two point conversion by Seattle.

I know its still way too early for a mock draft but I was thinking who would be available in 2025. In this draft I traded back once with buffalo. I also drafted based on BPA with a thing for need.. The trade with buffalo was pick 17, 2026 3rd rounder while seattle got 30,57, 62. The picks are 30. Jonah Savaiinaea OL Airzona 49. Jaishawn Barham LB Michigan 57. Jalen Milroe QB bama 62. josh conerly OT oregon 81. Walter Nolen DL FSU 114 Kaleb Johnson RB Iowa 171. Smael Mondon LB Georgia 176. Deion Burks WR Oklahoma 208. Josh Priebe OL Michigan The picks are based off of what I think seattle would go after a year after Macdonald first year. I did 3 offensive lineman especially with 2 offensive tackles. Jonah could slide inside to be the left guard but that depends on Christian haynes and how he does. Josh conerly is a replacement for Abe lucas and priebe is another olineman that add more depth. Also I draft barham and mondon so they add depth to the linebacker position. I took Kaleb Johnson as RB to add to the RB position and WR position Deion Burks to replace lockett. Now I drafted Jalen Milroe as qb for Bama because like Michael penix Jr he knows grubb/deboer offensive system. He has shown he really good and the fact he mobile. Yes geno has shown improvement my worry is his age and the fact that it may take a year to install the offensive lineman that huff wants. I believe grubb will not go for a nfl hc job unless it's the right one. My hunch is grubb will stay atleast one to two more years. But that a guess because he is doing a great job so far.

I'd like more first down runs, not all the time but more of it early in the game
@thomascox9362Ай бұрын
Even though I don't believe in silver lining. Detroit needed this win more than seattle. But the fact that seattle had an better offensive proformance to Detroit. If it wasn't for penalties and dumb calls seattle would probably be closer. But also I believe that mafe, Williams, and murphy played it would be a very different game. All I can say is I want a rematch because we all know MM and RG will have a different game plan for them..

Hey Johnny! I would hope not. I was really encouraged as the chat tonight after the game was very even-keeled in their outlook. It was cool to see, as usually there is always some freakout after a loss. I hope you're doing well, brother!

GG back to you and your boys. You're one of the few teams in the NFC I actually like and frequently pull for. See you in the playoffs.
