Pure castor oil should never be applied directly into the eye like eyedrops would be, but rather massaged into the skin of the eyelid, on the lashes, and surrounding area. Also, applied thinly enough not to drip into the eye. Hope that helps.

I’ve been using it religiously for nearly 6 months - exactly as directed & the proper castor oil - it’s made absolutely zero difference to my skin or hair. Hasn’t made my eyelashes or brows thicker, lines on my face haven’t improved in fact I feel like I’ve developed a more uneven skin tone after using it. I’m giving up as I’ve hated the greasy crap & it’s been totally pointless! I think it’s all hype & gaslighting

@@fionnualaization It’s a very powerful oil. Think about it, it pulls out all kinds of stuff inside the body. Kills warts. Kills tumors. So it can probably be used for good if the oil is high quality enough and if it’s used correctly. But putting something as powerful as this on your face? It’s not worth it. There are better alternatives. Some people have experienced fat loss on face and around their eyes giving them a hollowed out look. I think influencers should be more careful when recommending products for the face. Proper honest research and evaluation is needed on this oil and many other facial products before people experiment on their faces. Well, at least before everyone jumps on the Castor oil is so amazing band waggon. I’m not saying it is all bad as some people have had very good results with treating some medical conditions. I’m saying BECAUSE of this, perhaps be a bit careful of experimenting with it on your face. I’m saying this out of care because I want everyone to be safe rather than sorry.

That is completely wrong about not using it on your face. Of course always test first, and start out slow, but I, and hundreds of other commenters, attest to it's benefits for the face, eyelids, etc, and even nightly drops directly in the eyes. Watch various videos on KZbin concerning castor oil use, and especially read the comments for people's actual experiences, and you'll get a very good idea of it's almost universal safety and benefits for every part of the body.

@@E.L.Wilssonit has been used for centuries on the face. Face fat is lost with age if not exercising your face muscles. Now you do have to buy organic cold pressed in a glass bottle. Not the cheap ones in plastic. it does wonders for wrinkles and collagen buy will not prevent fat loss in face. a good face yoga routine helps with that.
