I do wonder what it means exactly. It's obviously a reference to him giving his rib for Eve to be created but does that imply he's still cares for Eve or something. The fact that she's not mentioned and honestly looked pretty evil in the intro makes me doubt that but I can't think of much else. Speaking of evil Eve I wonder if that has some connection with the "root of all evil" that's hinted at in both shows.

Adam is Alex Brightman. He played Bettlejuice in the Broadway production of Beetlejuice and Fizz in Helluva Boss. He also does the voice for Sir. Pentious later on.

Viv evidently wanted to conduct the show like a Broadway musical, so every character is played by a Broadway actor, and they sound awesome!😊 7:40, Yes, "Poison" is an Angel Dust song (and Angel is played by Blake Roman). I've only seen the pilot and first episode so far but I noticed they didn't call themselves angels in private, and it doesn't quite make sense for Adam to be a liason for the angels with the way he acts. I suspect the angels aren't who they seem. Appearing as holograms might have served to hide something from Charlie and it's also possible that Lucifer sent Charlie to meet with Adam knowing exactly how the visit would go.

@@tuxrugYeah how Charlie perceived Adam and the angels is almost certainly Lucifer's plan there, also probably didn't want to talk to his wife's ex too lol. Well an interesting idea remember that the one angel that seems like the boss was shown in the trailer enjoying the burning so it seems like the extermination is an official plan from heaven, I don't want to say too much more with info but there's a lot pointing to the angels just being d*cks and Adam isn't unique. However Adam and most likely his Exorcists are humans from heaven instead of those born there (same difference between Sinners and hellborn), so Adam and his behavior could be just chocked up to "he was a human" to the angels.

My luck I just finished a video and see yours dropped a minute ago lol. I believe all or nearly all voice actors were replaced with Broadway stars because this is a full on musical apart from other reasons. Most match pretty well to the OG voices though. So just in case the same VA for all the talking moments sings all the songs too. By the way since you like his voice the dude voice acting Adam and Sir Pentious is the same voice actor for Fizzaroli in Helluva Boss, Alex Brightman. Known as playing Beetlejuice in Broadway. Dude is freaking amazingly talented! Also Katie Killjoy's new VA is Blitzo!

I mean, "the Bible" is younger than Christianity. there were thousands of books and variants to books that got picked through to form "the Bible". story of Lilith goes back to the days when there was a female aspect to God in the common understanding. kinda surprised they didn't throw the actual quote in there, about Lilith refusing to lay beneath Adam, which is why she was cast out.

It seems interesting how the roles between Angels and Demons have gone reversed with Demons being the good guys and the Angels are the bad guys. 😧 Also I really appreciate that the beginning shows some Biblical Accurate of the angels and gives us the glance of a Hewbrew story of the Bible origin story of Lilith and Adam. As someone who is Catholic Christian, it seem to be surprising to witness that story version. So I can’t wait for episode 2 as it’s going to be a very funny one with story between two different characters but have a unique story on their respective to each other.

​@@Ghost_R4cc00nCharlie definitely has better people but even they clearly have their problems like Vaggie, Husk and AngelDust likely didn't kill any innocents but they probably did something wrong well Alastor (and possibly Nifty) were monsters. The demons in general seem extremely varied on the moral scale both for the Sinners and hellborn which makes it more like Earth but just worse, I believe the Baphomet quote "as above so below" which means "as in heaven so on Earth" but instead it's "as on Earth so in hell" works well here. In this story it seems like Sinners are not just the bad people but even those who are simply mediocre on the moral scale, people who did nothing particularly wrong just didn't live a good life. However if it's still true that AngelDust has a sister who is similar to him but got into heaven and along with the Cherubs episode might mean bad people go to heaven too. The angels are definitely the bad guys though we've only really seen Cherubs and Exorcists which may not be a good representation but we'll see if the others are better, as to me the elder's reaction to Lucifer's actions isn't unjustified even if it was an accident. To your point about using things not just in the Christian Bible Viv mentioned long ago that her hell well will mainly be the Christian one it will also have a combination of other stories and religions too so it will have aspects from Judaism, Hinduism, etc and even modern ideas like those of Lovecraft which is very cool.

They’ve ALL been changed because Vivziepop had a broadway vision for the whole show from the beginning, the pilot was a “this is what I’m going for, go crazy internet”. Since the new voice cast was announced so many fans went nuts and going crazy at Vivzie for the changes, but since the shows release I think people have shut the fuck up because they’ve realised that the new cast is good and staying true to what the characters should be 👏👏👏👏 love everyone who worked on this show 🥰🥰🥰🥰

One thing worth mentioning is that the show uses different music genres depending on the character instead of sticking mostly with one genre that a musical tends to do ( i.e. Hamilton's music is mostly fast paced rap). Charlie is very much a Disney Princess living in hell so her songs are like something out of a Disney film with a few naughty words thrown in. Adam does a rock number and even has his own guitar. Alastor is from 1930's New Orleans so he likes jazz and swing. Poison I warn you will be hard to watch. There's a reason it was first shown as a lyric video without any clips. The scene is the kind you have to do edits on because of content. it is gut wrenching.

I dunno if Charlie would be called a nephilim... Adam's just called an angel, and Lilith was his equal... so I think the line of "humans" probably starts with Adam and Eve's kids... maybe even Eve herself. I mean, nephilim were the giant children of angels and living mortals, so don't think that'd apply to Charlie... who knows though? the lore in this story is so deep that its just fun to speculate.

Lilith was "promoted" to demon when she was banished to hell. She isn't human anymore by the time she had Charlie. She's the only sinner who can reproduce

Alastor's Wendigo form is best thing on this show my favorite Asexual character. I love Lilith and Lucifer story something of this is even in demonology. Charlie and Vaggie are best couple. Vivziepop is using 7th Deadly Sins with this source of information material. So they are Fallen Angels which followed Lucifer down. Lucifer (Fallen Angel of Pride), Satan (Devil of Wrath), Leviathan (Dragon of Envy), Asmodeus (Nephil of Lust), Mammon (Demon of Greed), Belphegor (Demon of Sloth), Beelzebub (Fallen Angel of Gluttony) Just like that in her hell you have 7th rings which are one under another and pride ring is on top has 9 cycles 1.
