When I first went to what is now called The Henry Ford in the late '60's I was amazed that there was a locomotive inside the building. Incredible the things that Mr. Ford collected.

There are several locomotives. What I like to see is the first American locomotive (and tender and cars), the DeWitt-Clinton, and a replica of the first British locomotive and its tender (The Rocket), sitting next to the Allegheny locomotive and tender. Both old trains fit next to the one large train from the 1940s. What a change in about 110 years!
