Tbh it is a pain and does affect one mentally, makes one very self conscious when going out, meeting ppl, taking photos. Having every second person give you constant advice of do this or do that, have you tried this blah blah it is frustrating. Moreover especially if you've had them for years, and other ppl have gotten acen and its gone now, yeah it does take toll especially for those who have had them since forever despite trying every thing to stop them
