Needs to include family members too. And it also needs to shut down a lot of other schemes that allow influence to enrich politicians that are currently legal. Such as hiring relatives as consultants and paying them with campaign cash ( Bernie Sanders ) . Pay to play schemes and no-show jobs like the Bidens set up to launder foreign money through a series of shell corporations. Charity and non-profit schemes like the Clinton foundation where influence donates to their charity that then turns around and directs that money to campaign contributors. Hedge Fund setups like the Saudi Arabia Jared Kushner nonsense. Paying exorbitant money for things with little value like Hunter Biden's artwork or Presidential speeches. Make work no-show jobs like Biden's post-VP professorship or Michelle Obama's hospital administrator job. The revolving door between corporations and lobbyists with officials and regulators. And most of all an independent agency that acts as an independent 4th branch of government to be a full-time special prosecutor with subpoena power to go after any official at any time with no oversight except judicial. The whole system is irredeemable without radical change.
