As a mother with a child with special needs and even someone who has worked with kids with down syndrome, it chokes me up watching a child being raised and loved as well as colton. Being that they live in a small town where the resources aren't like that in a bigger city for a child with special needs, these two are equipping him and doing everything as if they were. He is so advanced. So smart. So happy. And sooo loved. The gifts they give these kiddos are teaching them so much and it shows. It truly is a blessing to see such amazing parents. And to watch Colton grow into the young little man he has become. Megan and Sean...you guys never stop being the parents you are to these kids. You are giving them the world. Continue to pull your strength from Jesus!!! Because it is showing in your kids. ❤️

I also have a special needs son n he had alot of medical conditions tht took up 100% of my time n it was not easy raisin him as far as being exhausting. My hubby worked 2nd shift bt I had 2 older kids that helped me alittle. Bt he's adult now...n I'm very proud of how far he has came n I wld do it all over again. 💖

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. 50 + years ago, my 2 oldest sisters had a small metal kitchen set. It was probably 14 inches long by 5 or 6 inches wide and 8 inches high. The 'stove' top would take the little cubes and you could make hot chocolate on it. Good memories. I know Colton will have beautiful memories from this kitchen.

whats amazing about shaun is he looks soo tired putting together the kitchen set but he still does it because he loves them babies and will get them the moon if he has to no matter what! yall are seriously the best parents ever!!! I was supposed to fly to Rochester from Nashville, to spend Christmas with my son, his wife, sweet 2 yr old grandson, and son’s visiting In-laws, all together enjoying being together at the new home my son & dau-in-law have, all together for Christmas! BUT, my connecting flight got cancelled before I took off from Nashville, but my luggage didn’t get returned to me, it went to Washington DC , & is being sent back to Nashville, in 24-48hrs. to go pick up. Lol! All my hairstuff, makeup, clothes, presents for family, shoes, I’m without, lol! But, Not being with my loved ones, is much more worse to be without. But, you & the babies cheered me up. You are good people, and a blessing! Thank you! The Lord Bless and Keep You!❤️🎄⭐️

I am so sorry that I am late in telling y’all a Merry Christmas!! I have been working almost 50 hrs this week!!! Walmart employee here so we have been busy as you can tell. I feel like I am y’all family 😂 in apologizing 😊 but hey y’all make me feel that way!!! Finally my day off and have been trying to catch up with my KZbin families!!! I also was thinking about my first Christmas on my own. It was just me and my son and I had Mac and cheese 😂he was only 3 months at the time. But I was still feeling truly blessed then and today I have 7 kids and spouses 6 grandkids. We were all missing my husband who we lost summer 2021. Don’t tell the kids but I love having a houseful of them laughing and carrying on. They think it drives me nuts 😂. Y’all have come a long way and have been truly blessed 😇!!! So happy that you share your life and your babies with all of us!!! So Merry Christmas and a blessed new year 🎉 🎉 y’all definitely deserve it all!!!

Always be thankful for every small blessing. I've been alone for the last 20 years. No celebrations, no gifts, and ramen noodles are my main food that I can afford. I've never had a birthday celebration since it is 3 days after Christmas. I've been through a lot of bad things, but you'll never hear me complain. I always think of what Jesus said.
