The reason why you will never run out of “feel good” songs is because at the end of the day, that’s what most people want from the music they listen to, so that’s what many great artists have produced. It’s a temporary escape, or it can be a sympathetic backdrop to add character to whatever may be going on at the time. For those of us who have either lost their album/cassette tape/CD of a classic song, forgot how good a song was, or maybe not yet born when a particular song was a smash hit, thanks for being our archive and giving it the HSCC spin! Not sure how many non-drummers can fully appreciate what Brad is doing here (and in so many other HSCC videos). Providing solid vocals AND laying down a solid groove simultaneously is NOT easy, and he adds some subtle but essential augmentations to the groove as well. Outstanding!
