it's actually not the india who initiated this quad organization it's the initiative of US.. USA wants partners to counter growing influence of china and seeing that japan, Australia and us usually have conflicts with china US thought to bring together these countries... what will India benifit from it i don't think anything.. since India is not in a position to go on war against china even with US alliance..

@@vipin395 no, it was originally suggested by Shinzo Abe because of their conflicts in Senkaku islands, however later it was revived by US when it sensed the strategic hedgemony battle in Indo -Pacific .

India has landed into the lap of USA, has lost its NAM status, and even its sovereign status to some extent. As far as, joining two visibly (could be three or four) opposing entity or International forums is concerned, it is need of finance capital, which knows no IBs, race, religion but growth and accumulation. Find out top imperialist countries or top economies "cooperation" and cut throat competition. Still, there is no surprise.

This isn't indecisiveness. It is infact an extremely rare strategic position to be present at both the sides and stay unopposed. While, it is also true that India doesn't have a so called best friend, but then who has one? Pakistan as China? Having good diplomatic relations with everyone is the only way forward. I consider ourselves as privileged.
