Story Of Shirdi Sai Baba - Origin, Life & Miracles
The Sai Baba of Shirdi, also commonly referred to as Shirdi Sai Baba, was an Indian spiritual Guru, Yogi and Fakir (mendicant), who was regarded by both Hindus and Muslims as a saint-seer. Many of his devotees consider him an incarnation of the Supreme. Some Hindu devotees revere him as an avatara of Lord Krishna, while to others, he is the incarnation of the divine Dattatreya. Though there are no recorded origins of the birth of Shirdi Sai Baba, all devotees unanimously agree that he was a Satguru, a Qutub or Sufi Pir beyond compare. Though Sai Baba is one of the major saints in India, his true origin and his real name remains unknown. Mhalsapati, who was a local temple priest, initially thought of him as a Muslim saint and greeted him with the words "Ya Sai!", which means, "Welcome Sai" in Marathi. The term Sai or Sayi, which literally means, "the Poor One", is a Persian title that is commonly given to Sufi saints. In Sanskrit, however, Sai could also refer to "Sakshat Eshwar", or the Essence of the Divine. The term Baba denotes a father or a saintly man. Hence, the name, Sai Baba. His teachings combined many elements of Hinduism and Islam. He lived in a mosque, which he named as Dwarakamayi, which is essentially a Hindu name. He dressed up as a Sufi, with a long gown and head wrapped up in a loose bandana of sorts, made of the same cloth. Baba practiced both Hindu and Muslim rituals, celebrated the major festivals of both the religions and used words and figures from both traditions.One of Sai Baba's most famous epithets was, "Sabka Malik Ek" which means everyone is ruled by One God.

sai has blessed me generously in life when i was stuck and going in wrong direction, i was confused and scared and was unaware of where to seek help from if i am worth for it in the first place, but sai blessed me help me find back my faith and let me live again, for me it does not matter if he was a muslim, a hindu, god incarnate or a crazy human he is just my sai, who saved my life, thus i am eternally grateful and faithful to him, its hurtful to see so many people dissing about him just becuz he may be Muslim. people have become so ignorant that they judge the profoundness and depth of a person just by their birth, whats the difference between them and the rakshasas that are described among these videos, anyways i am only posting this comment to try to instill faith among people who might get dejected by the comment section, he helps if you believe he will, dont judge without you even knowing a person

We are surprised by the comments and reactions as well. Bhagvad Gita affirms that there is only one God. *Gita **9:23**: Krishna says "Even those who, endowed with faith are devoted to other gods, they worship Me (the Supreme) alone, O Arjuna, in an indirect manner".* We believe you could worship Ram, Krishna, Kali, Shiva, Jesus, Allah, WaheGuru, a tree, a stone, a pillar (like Prahalad did) and in the end we all worship that one Divine Supreme. We strongly believe that the establishment of religion was to inculcate faith in the Supreme (in various forms) and bring people to the path of Goodness and Dharma, however, it is sad to see how religion divides and separates us from one another. In the end, whatever happens, it's all God's will. All we hope and pray for is that there remains co-existence, unity, respect and love despite all the divisions in our society like caste, religion, race, color, wealth etc.

Shirdi Sai Baba was more Arabic than Indian, you can tell by his facial features. A DNA test would most likely prove he has Sub-Saharan African blood in him as well. He was non-Aryan, and was no incarnation of any Hindu gods, but was most likely just a holy/saint man.
