Great idea!!!! I should have done that the time I wasted tons of water while on vacation for two weeks . I didn’t know I had a leak at the water outlet on my house .. the water hose was turned off at the sprayer end , which stayed by the green house , but water had poured out at the back of my house . The wooden patio was soft and green of algae when I came home. I was so worried about my water bill that when the time came to read the meter for the year ( New Year’s Eve..) I was literally nauseous and unwell.. luckily I had under used for many years. So I didn’t have to pay extra🥳 ( we pay a set amount every year , and have to pay extra if we use too much.. ) I was obviously adamant I had shut it off before I left 😢 Now I’m putting a hair tie on the tap outlet thingy… thanks !!

I have a huge garden. My daughter has a huge garden. We installed a drip line in her garden and in my garden. The best investment I ever made 70 years old standing out there trying to water as a female is really hard in south Texas. You’re gonna love it. You’re gonna add more. I tried the soaker hoses from Lowe’s not worth the money happy you got them gonna make your life easier.

I love windchimes so much. I used to have a big set that were turned to the bells at one of the famous ancient cathedrals in Europe, and they gave me so much pleasure. I truly believe that it is as important to have the things that feed your soul as much as it is the things that feed your body.

Tomatoes in the greenhouse with the new drip system is awesome! The system looks so easy for watering and tying up the plants. Windchimes are a tradition at our house. We home senior dogs and when one passes, a group of dear friends have a windchime made with their name on it. I have 8 hanging in and around my small greenhouse. The are mostly out of the way but if I happen to brush by, I know, my tone, which dog is looking down on me.

We have watering faucets and hoses all over our property. And we too have forgotten and left them on before. So I purchased some of the stretchable spring coil things (like for holding keys) I marked each one to indicate each water faucet and hung one on each faucet. So now each time we use one we remove the coil thing and place it on our wrist. That serves as a reminder to go turn it off and replace the coil back on the faucet. Can’t tell you how many times we’ve caught ourselves leaving water on with this system. Works for us!

Was that "white nylon twine" that is available in the hardware section? I used it for plant hangers way back in the late 1970's. When I divorced in 1979, they were boxed up until I bought my home in 1993. I went to hang new plants and the white nylon twine fell apart in micro-particales. Good luck! Nylon is biodegradable!~
