Absolutely a real Murano label! Used by the Cenedese Co. from after WW II until 1950s and then more recently on glass pieces from the company. As someone else said, "v" is how the ancients wrote "u" ... think about the letter "w" it is double "u" not double "v"...😂😂😂. So the seller was correct... There are over 5 dozen fake/misleading Murano labels, so skepticism is best...

The Mvrano label is indeed a legit Murano piece and because of that label even more rare. If you've ever heard of the popular skate brand RVCA, it is pronounce rew-kah, because the V represents a letter U. Certain brands use these spelling because the original Latin alphabet used to only have 23 letters, no U, so they used V instead. The more you know!

I think that sometimes, if a real piece of Murano has a label, it can be a V instead of a U - as this was used at times in parts of Europe! But it's so difficult to identify real Murano glass.

The murano glass mushroom is real designed by Antonio De Ros during the 1970's the style of label he used did use a v styled u to distinguish his designs 😊

That absolutely was a real Murano label. It is the Cenedese & Co glass company created by Gino Cenedese. Antonio da Ros did many mushrooms for Cenedese. I think they were just being creative with their label. You’ll often see the V being used instead of a U in ancient Roman writing so I think it was a play on that.

He says, pick out some t’s for the family!” So, one was a shirt with a bunch of colorful punch buggies (cars) PERFECT for our 8 yr old son! He opens the gift, at Christmas,”oh cool! Cars! I worked at a store and then early 80s and we had those bunny mugs and other animals doing it - the brand was Taylor and NG. Very popular at the time. The store was in Seattle and high end furniture and gift shop. Love your style l enjoy your travels also.

Near me in Montclair had the drive in swap meet for YEARS. It was always fun because you could always find used stuff for sale. As years went by, it became more commercial, and more and more new stuff dealers showed up. At the end, there was barely anything used....stopped going. They closed the place. Same with the flea markets and swap meets in Arizona near Phoenix.
