Episode 9 has crazy awesome fights, everyone looks forward to Frieren using magic. Episode 10 shows it's going to be talking, flashbacks, and some minor magic. But the buildup leads to one of the coldest kills on screen. The sheer lack of respect that Frieren shows. Frieren says "Aura," while turning and then while walking away throws out the line, "k*ll yourself," as an after thought or piece of trash. Aura doesn't even get to die by the hand of Frieren, Aura doesn't get to fight back with magic, her demon body ceases to exist, no one(other than the audience) saw her die and Frieren was better at Aura's unique magic that Aura. Pure humiliation.
