First time I saw this movie in the theatre, I had tears when they brought back Jean and Scott at the end. I may have my problems with some of these shows, with how they treat some characters, or the logic of some storylines... but that was a triumphant moment that really represented the beating heart of the X-Men comics. I wish the quality of the films that followed would have been on par with this one.

In the original version (at least in the animated series) who travels to the past is Bishop, the man who absorbs energy and channels it into a gun, and the person who causes the apocalypse and the creation of the sentinels is also Mystic but turned into Gambit, the mutant that appears in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and uses a staff next to some playing cards.

Except the MCU Spider-Man is the only version who quips like comics Spidey. Garfield was too arrogant and cruel with his, McGuire didn't really do much at all. Quipping during fights is one of Peter's special powers. They make a great reference to it in Civil War when Falcon says, "I don't know if you've been in a fight before, but there's usually not this much talking."

@@user-xx6vy9ri8p Kinetic energy for Shaw. Explosives, bullets, blunt instruments, even a few types of energy projectiles. And it used to make him insanely strong and durable. Bishop can absorb different energies, but I don't think kinetic was one of them, at least, he's been shot and injured from explosions, as the energy he absorbs does not make him that much physically stronger. He's kind of the opposite of Shaw, except he can store different "flavors" of energy at once, and convert them to his own usage.

Michelle, I know The Homies don't take requests, but you should know the movie with Chris Hemsworth named "Extraction" I'm sure you will love. You get to see a more serious side of his acting ability. His superhero roles are less serious and sometimes comical. Extraction is a role that really shows off his acting like you've never seen. When you watch the movie he will seem new and different to you. Women fawn over his looks and his muscles. Its funny to see him have this effect on women, but in Extraction all that is left behind. The “The laser guy” is Alex Summers aka Havok and is Scott Summers/Cyclops’ older brother. They’re powers are similar but operate completely differently, while Alex can control his blasts through his chest and arms, Scott’s famously comes from his eyes although he can’t control them unless he wears specially designed glasses or his visor. In the comics Alex and Scott actually had another brother called Gabriel, the youngest sibling, but he was born and kidnapped after his mother was killed in a plane crash caused by the alien race The Shi’ar and that separated The Summers boys. Alex lost his memory and Scott hit his head when he landed with Alex and that’s what caused him to lose control of his abilities

in the comic books, Bishop comes back in time from the future to warn the Xmen about a war in the future and a scientist from the future goes even further back in time with a killer robot named Nimrod to assasinate the Professor, Logan is in the future as an older version of himself because he doesn't age and he takes the time machine to follow them back to the past to save the Professor.

Cable also comes back from the future to find Bishop and he is there to stop Apocalypse an all powerful mutant in the future that has turned mutants and humans into slaves under him. and Cable has heard that Apocalype rose to power sometime in the past in Ancient Egypt , so he is trying to locate when and where so he can kill Apocalypse before he rises to power

This movie delete all the facts after the 1973 and creates a new time line. Forget the first 3 movies, a great part of Wolverine the origins and Wolverine the immortal

Wolverine Origins isn't fully deleted. Aside from the beginning parts happening before and during both First Class and Days of Future Past, certain events after 1973 still took place like Wolverine meeting Stryker, the Team X mission in Nigeria, the weapon X experiment, and Cyclops's origin story. Only the Wolverine vs. Deadpool fight scene is erased. Also, the flashback scenes in the Wolverine (where he saved Yashida from the atomic explosion) is the only part that still exists in the timeline.

Can't wait for the MCU to introduce Xmen, They were a big thing in the 90s in America, These movies made a good job for the most part bringing them to the movies , however due to the fights of sony, marvel and fox most of these characters had to be omitted and or changed like Scarlet Witch and The Quick Silver from avengers which they are mutants (biological sons of magneto) but they got changed to be other thing i can't remember but it was a little wink to the 90s fans. All the fan service that could appeal to the 90s generations was subject to those old copyright fights and never made it to the MCU. However this is imo why the second half of the MCU is more hype yet because of the liberty that Marvel has to use any character and all the fan service they owe to the 90s kids that right now we are in our 30s and past 10 years watching the best marvel movies without the xmen or fantastic 4 and so. It is good that you are getting ready for this cause the next MCU has the potential to be one of the best super hero movies of their franchise even better than the thanos arc which was changed in some aspects to make thanos not look that evil, also the final battle lacked big things like another icon of the 90s... Silver Surfer. Greetings girls, i hope you're annotating what movies you saw and a little phrase that reminds you what you saw on them. I did this kind of marathon back in 2015 to catch up on indie movies and big others that i passed cause of work or other hobbies i had. This helps to get what you have watched and what not and what you thought of it.
