Early Spring Inspection, Should I feed My Honey Bees a Frame of Honey?

In the early spring, it is important to check on your honey bee colonies and decide whether to feed them or not. This colony was large, but out of nectar. If we feed them, they would start rearing brood and build momentum. If we don't, we take a risk that they won't get nectar in time. We need them to start brooding up so that peak workforce numbers match the peak spring nectar flow.
