If you think these lads are bad, you should hear me and my old man! Married 36 years but any outsider might think we're heading for divorce 😂😂😂. Funnier still is my eldest daughter and her husband. They're both on their second marriage, they're absolutely inseparable, they love each other's kids as their own (no exaggeration, any outsider would never guess they're not bio parents to all), yet they bicker like her dad and me! Our youngest daughter and her SO (soon to be fiancé!) are equally bad, and it's a joy to hear him give as good as he gets. Typical British behaviour between people who are really close. We don't waste the time or effort on people we don't like, or if we know them to be sensitive souls (even then, gentle teasing may well occur because even the most sensitive person knows the "you get teased _because_ I like you" thing). So if a Brit speaks to you like Graeme and the lads do to each other, you've got a friend for life! (I'm guessing, from some experience, that much the same applies to Aussies, Kiwis and Canadians? Either that or we weren't friends 😂!)

Literally just finished the book about 5 mins ago, Graeme! What a success! You should be so proud of it and of where you are today! Life’s not perfect, but I’m glad to see you happy. I want you to know I’m praying for you and your family, esp. for what you mentioned at the end of your book. That’s all I’ll say here. 💗

lol, I love how you pick on Craig’s-boy, and he handles it perfectly! I also appreciate that you don’t edit out your bloopers, they make me laugh. Humor is a powerful, POWERFUL thing. Ty for making me laugh and as I always say in my comments to you two men, Ty for the respect you show these animals. I have no double that it permeates to all your interactions with all animals and people alike. Got the signed book and ty for that, but immma buying the audio book so I can hear it in your own voice. Love to you both and your families.

I just finished Bruised Sole. It is seriously well-written (assume much thanks to Robert’s editing?) and brutally honest. I absolutely loved the read and found your life story so inspiring, Graeme. You must have something special inside that so many people gave you opportunities despite what a mess you were at times. Glad your mental issues were finally diagnosed and treated. Our granddaughter went through many of the same destructive behaviors but, fortunately, her stepmom recognized the signs and they got help. She is now doing great and wants to be a doctor! I hope people use this book to show young and perhaps troubled people that life can turn around. Doors open…don’t be afraid to walk through! Love being part of The Herd!

I got your book a couple of weeks ago. I was so excited that it was signed! (I wasn't sure if I had ordered it in time to get one.) I absolutely loved it! Thank you for sharing your story. I blew through reading it in about 12 hours. I love to watch your videos and the way you interact with all of your family. How you support each other, especially Craig. It makes the days so much better when you have someone that can work with you so effortlessly. I grew up on a dairy farm in north central Pennsylvania USA. Unfortunately, we had to sell our family farm about 20 years ago. I love seeing and hearing the cows on your videos. I recently put on your videos and showed my dad. He sat and watched them one afternoon for hours. They made his afternoon that day. He keeps asking me to bring my iPad and headphones back so he can watch more! Please keep them coming! You made a 72 year old retired farmer and his daughter very happy!

I was just coming on here, to contact you, when this post appeared, & it really underlined all that I wanted to say to you, Graerme. I really love the craic you, Craig, & Kevin, have while you work! Lol You are all very professional, but Craig, so patiently, puts up with your shenanigans, & obviously enjoys the kind of teasing that only comes with being so close-knit as a family! Lol My husband was very similar to you, in character, Graeme, & it made me wonder, as I read your book, if he should also have seen a doctor, too. But we'll never know, now! Anyway, I want to thank you, so very much, for opening yourself up, and writing your book - it has helped me to get to know you all more, but has also answered some questions I didn't know to ask, relevant to my own life! 👍 I've just finished reading your book, which I found so very hard to put down, as your story was so compelling! It actually took me 3 days to read, which is really unusual for me, being an avid, & fast, reader. But I kept slowing down, all the more to absorb your life story more deeply. There are huge parallels for me, to your life, and I greatly admired what you have achieved, both through grinding hard work, and a determination to keep going on, despite whatever life brought to you! 👍 It turns out you're only a couple of years older than my daughter - my only child - 'though, like you, my husband also had a daughter before we met, so my heart aches for your situation - and I'll keep hoping that Maddie reads your book, and gets in touch once more! ❤️ It's so wonderful that you found your Ashley, and I hope, for you both, to have the same kind of deep, and enduring, love, that I've had with my husband. We had 34 wonderful years together, until his untimely death, at 64 years old, and I hope that you & Ashley have so many more years together! 👍 Once again, thank you for your book - it truly is a wonderful read, and an inspiration - & highly educational, too! Lol I watched your first vids, when I first discovered your channel, & they encouraged me to keep on watching! As someone who lives rurally, in west Wales, your whole descriptions of life in rural Scotland vibes strongly with me - which is why the cows got me so hooked on watching you, with 'Gracie' a close runner up! 🤣 I wish you all the best that life sends your way, & look forward to even more lessons in trimming Cow's hooves! 👍
