As a human who has had osteonecrosis, or bone death, I can tell you it is PAINFUL! So glad you are there to help her out. I had to have my shoulder replaced when the bone died after I shattered it in a fall. It is very painful, indeed.

I agree it is extremely painful. I have blood cancer and this type causes bone death until it basically turns to powder. I don’t wish this on anyone especially animals.

Oh she MAD! Glad she didn't get you! Also I'm kinda glad you were able to show that. All cows are not docile and nice and some people don't get that. My uncle had a few that were just plain mean. Always fun running through 'their' pasture to get to the swimming hole.

i got chased along a country round by a bunch of highland cows - omg i thought they were going to take the fence down and trample me lol. i was trying to walk slowly so as not to scare them but i was with a daft town dog that didnt know what cows were far less these massive ginger things with big horns lol. The farmer and his wife almost filled their wellies laughing - they used dogs with the cows and had just been chasing after my dog not me.

You’ve never met an angry cow. They don’t close their eyes when they charge and are more agile than bulls. Bulls close their eyes just before they get you and you can get out of the way (think bullfighting). Cows are definitely meaner when they are scared and will hurt you.

I have been mauled by a cow as I was trying to get her newborn calf inside the barn (which I had done many times before) she broke 2 ribs and one vertebrae. I was actually facing her at the time and still am amazed at how fast she was! I’m glad y’all are safe!

When she was getting ready to take poor Graham out all I could hear was my dad, he used to tell me if a cow charges try to get out of their way or get something between you and them if a horse does the same get down and get as small as you can as a cow will go through you a horse will go over you (I spent alot of time either down the yard with the horses or visiting a family friend who had cattle and being a child who was always attracted to animals no matter their size this was drummed into me from a very young age)
