I am close to the same age as these ladies. I enjoyed the whole video, but listening to them talk about the ideal friend and friendship, they really make me want to go to the nearest airport to get to the friend who makes me feel like that! Watching this, even when they're being themselves and not their characters, they have that chemistry that makes them look like they're friends. They may not be, I have no idea.

I don’t think Portia has the social currency so to speak to be that close to the Queen. I also think that Queen Charlotte would find her tiresome. Lady Danbury probably wouldn’t trust her and Lady Featherington has scorned Violet and/or her children quite a few times.
