I can't believe it 's been a year since the last one of these videos. Concerning Daiwas T-wing. I had a Heddon Mark4 3600 I bought in the 70's. To use the free spool you pushed a lever in the front forward. The larger circular portion of the line guide would now be where the line would pass through on the cast. When the crank was turned a more traditional portion of the line guide was used in the retrieve. Very similar to the T-wing function. That's all the rambling from a old guy. Thanks again.

Just got my Windbuster 30 minutes ago from the Hook Up Tackle. Had Ben's name as the from: Ben. So I've watched, I think all the Windbuster videos and have come to the conclusion the Windbuster isn't necessarily tip heavy unless you pair it with an Ultra light weight reel such as the Vanford / CI4+, or Excense 3000 or Daiwa Tatula LT or Abu Garcia Revo MGX 3000 size reel. I've paired my Shimano Twin-Power C3000XG "7.6oz." spooled with straight Sunline Super Sniper 8lb. Flourocarbon. The Windbuster is balanced slightly past the metal ring in front of the cork. The Windbuster will be my dedicated swimbaits on a jig, Tube bait, and the Ned rig. Ben, thanks for your review of the Windbuster and Hook Up Tackles superior service!

I switched to the Daiwa Tatula 100 and love that reel. I haven’t stepped up to the Tatula SV but I love my Daiwa reel.

I have found that for weights, consistency of weight is a factor. So many weights are not the weight they claim to be and can be different among weights in the same package. In that respect, Ryugi also does the best..consistency at least!

The local megabass shop here in detroit is a fly shop. They showed me the greatest dropshot hook, the gamakatsu b10s. It's basically a fine wire sniper finesse with a straight shank. It's beautiful.
