I’m surprised you still have X- Nanahan +1 and +2’s. Went out this past weekend and slayed every species in the lake with them. Straight retrieve and literally every cast was “FISH ON”.

One of the most sought after jerkbait for the local anglers here in Singapore is the Raid Level Minnow. It's a floating jerkbait with a nickname "magic minnow"; you can do any sort of action with it and it will entice a bite every single time.

I only fish one company, they are that good in my opinion.however I changed the hooks out on my 110’s when in around bigger fish, at least the front..the factory hooks are sticky sharp however they pull every so often.and if a stripe grabs it your chance of getting him is less then 50%.

I noticed that there are some days, they just won't touch a vision 110. If I switch to a rerange or lucky craft pointer, I start getting bites. Maybe it's the sound or the profile of the bait.

I think it has to do with the forage - you'll see the Japanese guys burn and stop a jerkbait a lot and get bit. I've caught the occasional fish doing that but for the most part it's not a mainstay retrieve here.
