Eight years ago, I was making a youtube montage of Formula D Long Beach for school. Shreeve sees me trying to poke my cheap borrowed camcorder through the fence and invites me into the press-only area RIGHT next to the initiation point, telling security that I'm his helper or some bs. Being inches away from these incredible machines as they initiated for the first turn (with nothing but air between me and their rear bumpers) was of the very greatest experiences in my motoring life, and something I will never, ever forget. They'll probably hit an equilibrium where people dont buy them to destroy as drift cars in a few years, doubt it'll be ferrari level, but probably more than most can reasonably afford. The more people drift, the more are destroyed, the rarer they become, the more they cost, the fewer people buy them. Some models obviously more than others...
