@forcedinduction52452 жыл бұрын
There is no intake that will bolt up to a set of Clevor heads that will flow enough to feed 460 inches. Those TFS heads are almost as good as the old Yates C3's and they are way better than those Aussie Clevor heads. The old C3's are not easy to find so I'm assuming that helps the choice to use the TFS. And I think the best heads for the small block ford may be the Kausse heads. I had a 351w, and was able to get 418ci stroker out of it plus with a nice choppy Comp Cam and all high performance I was getting about 550hp. Not to bad for a 69 block.

69-74 are the best factory 351w.I had a 74 out of a ltd and built it for torque, put 354 thousand HARD miles on it and it would not die.

In front of a built reverse pattern AODE with a ratchet shifter and 4.11 gears in a 67 fastback. Electric steering and brakes, TCP/Global West suspension etc… I think the problem would be getting ALL of it to the ground. Would definitely be checking out other NA builds via the rear view mirror with that combo!!! Lol Not that I just mentioned my dream build or anything… $$$$$$$$$$

I’m a big ford guy I don’t know why but it just bugs me for some reason that guys put Chevy motors in fords and or the other way around when guys put ford motors in Chevy vehicles I was just stating that I see a lot of fox bodies and other ford cars with an LS in it so it was kinda cool seeing someone sticking with ford power
@fusionsportdaily16504 жыл бұрын
@Brock Main3 naw dog, they're not good. Popular yes. But it's because they are cheap in all areas, cost, performance, quality. Just because you mass produce turds for X amount of years does not mean it's good. LS lovers need to try learning actual motor mechanics instead of an easy outdated performance. Sure 30yrs ago they were a thing. Now days there are way more engines and way better engines than any LS. You can get way more performance all around if you run a DOHC.
