Good to see how the whole Arden heads work on a flat head block. My first engine was a Ford SB 302 so the flat heads are very strange.

I closed my restorarion shop in '19 after 40 years of GM restorarion and aluminum oxide and plastic media blasting also the last 10. I can say with absolute authority after blasting hundreds of frame and chassis parts with por15 on them. You can say what you want, but it is total garbage. I peeled more sheets off with my thumbnail than I ever had to blast. After sand blasting, why in the world would you not apply epoxy primer and a urethane satin GM eggshell black?

Couple tips first u should rock the easy out back and forth and next time put the heat in the caliper around the bleeder screw not the screw itself

I love these old school engines, and the old schoolers building these engines! This one here is unreal!!these blocks were built heavy duty, and a very strong built bottom end! Oil supply was an issue on long term, but what a super engine!!

I consulted for Hendricks Motorsports for a few years on their advanced engine development. A true NASCAR engine is setup to last the length of the race plus s bit of margin, like 500 miles for Daytona. Rods and bolts stretch…

I rebuilt and restored Corvettes for over 30 years and if you need anything for your brakes on a C3 you need to get them from SSBC, "Stainless Steel Brake Corporation”, all of their products come with a lifetime guarantee, you’ll probably never need to use the warranty but its there if you need it. Out of all the calibers I replaced on C3s and that’s in the hundreds, maybe 5 calibers had to be returned, and that was due to a bad seal and had nothing to do with the quality of the calibers supplied by SSBC. Let me add if you have any questions concerning your car like fixing a broken hood cable, a door that won’t unlock, or headlights that won’t lift or go down, don’t hesitate to contact me on KZbin. Speaking of hood cables you should replace the pull cable and the cross-over cable while you have it apart, it’s fairly easy to do with the car in its current state of repair.
