We had our oil machine break before league night once but instead of no oil, it was basically a 60 foot flat oil pattern. It was a rough night to say the least. Got to the point where we were just throwing it straight at the head pin and hoping for the best 😂

I've always wondered how hard lanes would play if you had essentially the exact opposite of a normal house shot. So instead of the oil making an A shape when viewed overhead, it makes a V, and the outsides have all the oil and the middle are dry

I think strings somewhat negate rpm / speed because of the lack of messengers. So it takes a flush or 3/4 type pocket to strike. Not counting a goofy string-carry shot I think that’s why all the people whine - they’ll have to throw good shots, not just fling the head pin around

I do not like pins with the nylon strings attached to them. I think it restricts pins from shooting out of the pit or flying off the side wall.

That first switch when she squirted 3-4-5 pumps…. That’s how much oil goes down a lane on a normal pattern. Like… a thimble full of she put that in 3 feet Either have to dry it all or squirt it all to really jack it up? Scrub the left side, and squirt between 5&15, try to drag it the length

When my wife and I get there, we are looking at a house in College Hill. So Tiffany, my wife, wants to learn how to bowl and has asked if she can get lessons from Madison. And, either at Northrock or Brent's place. Lol... She sees how I throw and thinks I can't teach how to throw a stroker shot (I am a Cranker from way back in the early 80's). But, she wants to bowl with me. Unless it's a scratch league.
