Got it, song "Aqua Regia". Djent/Low Tuned/Messhugah? The Summoning. RnB Metal but with Doom tuning? Chokehold. Want some lo fi hiphop with a cool ending? Granite. WANT FUNK? I absolutely love when you do band reviews, and it was refreshing to see a band surprise you in a good way. As a former drummer myself, I too am a big fan of this guy....the vocalist, as well. Man, that guy is so diverse. I wasn't a fan of the Arctic Monkeys-sounding part, but it most certainly further showcased the bands' diversity. I looked them up once after seeing a photo of them, and I absolutely loved the song I randomly picked. I will certainly be giving these guys a lot more attention and love, henceforth. I am also really digging the vast variety of types of videos you have been firing out, here to kick off the new year. From Jay's visit, to hunting for a venue for Palefest 2023, to unique mask unboxings, the return of Two Mask Tuesdays, this band review. If you're going to go down that rabbit hole, buckle up for that ride - all of their songs maintain rock elements, but they experiment with genres and can go all over the place as a result. A little bit of metal here, some funk there, sprinkles of pop for flavor... I got to see Sleep Token live back in October when they were opening for In This Moment. One of my friends is a big In This Moment fan, so I brought him along even though I was more excited to see Sleep Token live for the first time and my buddy had never even heard of them. After the show, the only thing my buddy could talk about was how much he was blown away by Sleep Token and how much more he wanted to hear. So yeah, if you can get a chance to see the live, it's definitely worth it. They sound incredible live, proving that they aren't just one of those bands that only sounds good due to being processed forever in a studio.

I was made aware of Sleep Token in early 2021 by one of my friends and I instantly became a fan. So much amazing musicianship happening, definitely not a one trick pony. So many elements going on in their music. "The Summoning" was majestic. Another theatrical band you should check out is Imperial Triumphant, that band really caught my attention.

You might like King Diamond. It’s a little old school, but I remember that you said Metallica was one of your favorites, and Metallica was inspired by him. He has several albums that tie to a horror/supernatural story that plays out through the album. He does some live theatrics and he has some cool outfits, cool corpse paints, especially on the 2022 tour he did with his old band Mercyful Fate. I think he had some kind of skull headpiece, and a crown or something. His voice is super jarring if you aren’t used to it, but I came around to it after a bit. If you check him out I’d recommend the title track from the “Abigail” album.

I completely stumbled across Sleep Token on accident one day and haven't regretted it since. I think I might have a theatrical band you can check out. I think you once said you liked Nine Inch Nails so you might like Skinny Puppy. Their an industrial band that's been around since the 80's and they were a pretty big influence on Trent Reznor. They also would do some various theatrical stuff during their live shows.
