Ken and Mary Okoroafor , all your videos are brilliant. This one in particular has made me reflect more on my lectures at LSE and added on my financial knowledge."There is gold everywhere, most people are not trained to see it. You are training people to see it - thank you" 😅. Keep up the good work. Financial independence is achievable. Thank you once again and May God continue to bless you abundantly. You are helping lots of families out there who are willing to act😊

Highly packed with the really important stuff as usual. My feedback would be to summarise with a table at the end of the video when explaining a list of items for your viewers to pause and see how much they retained😊

Great to hear some accounting fundamentals being shared! Incredibly important that investors can analyse accounts. I actually even made videos covering div. yield and the liquidity ratios a couple of weeks ago 🤣

Thank you for producing this video, you quoted lots of formulas and I struggled to keep up with them. Would you consider posting a summary of the guidance you shared? There certainly is a lot to think about when investing in shares!

Great video , Vanguard Life Strategy 100% Acc based on long term investment horizon tracking indexes and Fundsmith Equity I Acc as for large companies and growth stocks which should not need to undertake significant borrowing and good use of capital employed. These 2 I put into on a monthly basis without fail. I’ve been wanting to pick up a Fund specifically for the S&P index but unsure which, will probably end up with Vanguard but UBS looks to have a good one (gathering what I’ve found on Morningstar) . Most recently I’ve been tempted by specific stocks due to their fall, cyclical and more risky such as Carnival Cruise and DART ( jet 2) but parting with an amount I’m comfortable without worry which makes it much easier to deal with and remove any emotion from looking at the long term perspective.

Thank you for the excellent content. Is there a way to invest in the S&P 500 on vanguard where it accumulates the dividends? I can't see that option.

Doesn't matter the amount you put in. Glad you are starting NOW! Well done! Keep the education up and keep increasing what you can towards your investments :) If you want a great short book, check out The Simple Path To Wealth by JL Collins! It's a very simple to understand, cuts through confusing financial lingo and is one of my all time favourites.

U.S. Equity Index Fund - Accumulation ( VS ) S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUSA) Which is the best for long term investment? may be 40 years
@patrickvenn85584 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, those are both good choices! Both diversified, both index funds/ETF's, both good long term buy and hold options. No one will be able to predict which one will perform better over the next 40 years. I would check the cost of fees on each fund which might impact my decision. Both should be low though!
