are pompano biting in September? my family is coming to st george Island then and am dying to catch and eat one but know nothing about them being from nc. any tips on any species would be greatly appreciated!!! all i know about is flounder fishing on the east coast lol

I’ve heard that some people catch pompano pretty much all through out the year. I think as long as you read the beach right and don’t be afraid to move further down the beach if you ain’t getting bites, I don’t doubt you could catch pompano
