Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine kzbin.infoUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

It's what makes you guys the most entertaining to watch, showing it how it really is. showing the good with the Bad. No Ozonics, 3,500.00 muddy Blind with the 200 inch Booner hitting the Bean field at 6pm, on a multi million dollar property, professionally managed for white tails, paid for by marketing Hunting gear with a high level of product obsoletion. You guys put the reality back in Hunting. THP, The Hunting Beast, Ranch Fairy, Ashby, msu deer lab. You're Real help to real Hunters.

Getting hard for the average guy to compete in the shed hunting game now a days. Too many people with dogs trained in shed hunting, heck there are even people renting out their shed hunting dogs. Plus some people with dogs park along the road where they have spotted big bucks throughout the winter and send their dogs onto private land to bring sheds back to them while they wait in their vehicles to avoid confrontations with land owners and possible trespassing tickets. There is too much money involved in the antlers as well with so many artists and craftspeople buying them for their projects the woods are just full of people. I actually see far more people out on public land shed hunting then I ever see out there actually hunting the same land. People that do not hunt are in on it now that money is involved, just look at ebay, facebook marketplace, craigslist, flea markets, auctions they are loaded with antlers people are selling and for big bucks as well with a couple hundred bucks for a nice long tined high mass 4 or 5 point shed not unheard of.

For as many times you all are successful calling in big deer, this is actually refreshing to see. In my opinion, that buck pinpointed your position with your first grunt. This late in the year he has seen that trick too many times and subtly avoided it. Thanks for showing the successes and missteps to give a great picture of true hunting.

Aaron don’t sweat it. This year I have been on more bucks than ever. But shot opportunities have been poor due to brush & saplings and no cutting allowed on public or ntl forest. The way we hunt it’s hard to get those final inches. Then come gun season you can’t get within 150 yards. You just have to be right one time. Just spend time in the woods and enjoy it. When that slob comes down and gives you that perfect shot... then you know it’s meant to be.

I believe that was a time that a doe bleat would have been the thing to use to bring him back. I've had/have a lot of luck using a doe bleat instead of a grunt call or rattling antlers. And It's weird to me that I never see anyone using a doe bleat. I've figured out that this time of year all bucks are not always in the mood to fight, but they seem to always be in the mood to check out a doe.

Bad setup for calling. He could see your setup pretty easily from the looks of it and he was mature. Could’ve done more and it wouldn’t have mattered. They’re not dumb especially public land deer that have heard everything. Not going to come in unless the wind is in his face, quartering at bare minimum. Have to setup for them to have a better wind and one that just does work for you, but I’m sure you guys already know that…. Better luck on the next one, hell of a deer. Nothing against Greg at all but if nick would’ve been with you that deer would’ve came in. He’s a magnet for deer!!

I personally prefer the videos where we don't know if you're going to shoot a deer or not. In a situation like that during the 12 minute mark, you could tie some antlers to some rope, dangle them at the bottom of the tree. Pull on the rope so they hit each other, that way when the deer looks in that direction you dont have to stop. I am thinking when you stopped hitting the antlers together (Twice) the deer got suspicious. Just a thought.
@dillonhouse696

Well for starters you don’t ever call at a deer like he just did and then you snort wheezed him and then rattled and then a doe bleat. That buck was think things are going on over there but it ain’t real deer things. Learn how to actually talk to them besides just throwing random calls out and that might help.
