Parent's signature(co-borrower/co-applicant in this case) is required for Scholar loan under AA category , so for other categories also it's required can be assumed. Verified this from Chief Manager of SBI Chennai branch. Please share exact information since many of us take help from such videos.

Any loan should be the last option. One need not start his/her career with a debt. If you can't afford an MBA, then don't do an MBA - or do an MBA only when you can afford it. Enticing people to take loans for education is not a good idea.

@@ShivShankar0002 This is the state of affairs in India among the youth today. One gets ridiculed for advising the youth not to take a loan. Not taking a loan is a "cheap mentality". Yes, middle-class people can also do an MBA - look for options that the middle class can afford. If one is middle class then it is all the more reason NOT to take a loan. The rich can afford a loan without any problems.

@Ago You are right. So in that case, if one comes from a rich family, repaying that money is easy. But if one comes from the middle class, it can lead to a debt trap. In fact, I am not sure how Abhishek is literally encouraging students to take loans. Not only is it unethical, it may be bordering on being illegal. Imagine a scenario, when a student takes a loan, gets into a debt trap two years down the line, and then blames this very video for his decision. Abhishek could be in deep s**t.
