Dr David Forgacs from Saule Technologies presents during The Inkjet Conference 2018 “Inkjet-printed perovskite photovoltaics: From laboratory to industry”.
Perovskite technology is under dynamic development within the last few years. In 2013, perovskite solar cells have been nominated to be one of the top 10 scientific breakthroughs of the year by “Science” magazine. Their efficiency is already on par with silicon cells and is predicted to increase in the following years. Utilising
inkjet printing technique enables the design of freeform perovskite solar modules. The presentation will highlight how flexible, lightweight and low-cost perovskite solar cells can boost solar energy harvesting and open new possibilities for photovoltaic applications in a variety of industries.
