Lou spoke of doing all his own stunts and effects on the show. I used to think he was actually pulling those guys, but he's not. At 4:00 you can see the pull line in the water, and Lou jumps over it.

That’s what I was thinking; I saw that tow line. When you watch the Kenneth Johnson interview, he’d open your eyes to some errors in the production (things that somehow became obvious on camera that shouldn’t). Those things made it all even more interesting. That interview, by the way, is one of the bonus features that came with an Incredible Hulk video that I bought few years ago.

I personally find them using an actual male bodybuilder to play the Hulk much more convincing and impressive than the CGI verson of the Marvel films. When Lou as the Hulk performs feats of strength, you can see all his muscles flexing and can almost feel the release of pure power. While the CGI Hulk version is supposedly bigger and stronger than Lou's Hulk was portrayed in the series, you dont get the same feeling of pure power and strength as you do with Lou in this show.

That is a young Fred Ward! I could hardly recognize him! The guy has been in a ton of movies and TV shows since the 70's. I remember him most from the first couple of "Tremors" movies. I always thought that guy had kind of a rugged "Charles Bronson" look about him.

Lou looks like he got a great pump before he filmed this scene. He looks huge and you can see the striations in his pectoral muscles when the hulk does his usual most muscular flexes after pulling the two bad guys onto the shore. The scene with the hitchhiker was one of the best comedic scenes from the show. Lou had the perfect look of confusion on his face as the hulk couldn't figure out why everyone was running away. It would have been amazing if the hulk figured out that the hitchhiker wanted to go in the truck, so he picked him up with one arm and threw him into the back of the truck as it sped away.
