One thing that always bothered me about this Hulk was he would smash through 6-12 inch thick brick and cinder block walls without so much as a scratch or bruise, but this gorilla could hurt him and he can be shot dead because the bullets go through. But I loved the show and as a teen was inspired to body build.

I do think the bullets weakness does make a bit of sense. If there was such a thing as a real life hulk, I really think this would pretty much be it.

Plus, Hulk is wearing the tattered zoo uniform shirt that David was. I think what distracts people is the sight of a seven foot tall, musclebound, green skinned man running around. They don't look at the clothing and try to determine what the big green guy actually is.
