43. Who Touched Me? - Mark

This story is mentioned in Matthew ,Mark and Luke .Luke mentions that it was the hem of Jesus's garment that was touched. Read numbers 15 : 37 ..41 and you will be shocked at the meaning of the hem .Then read the account of the man that was stoned in Numbers 15 ,preceding the hem requirements . In the Bible a female represents a church . A leader of the synagogue had a new church ( his daughter) that was sick unto death .No one that was attending that church was going to be part of the kingdom age . Keep that for after. Now consider this...Whilst the miracles that attended Jesus's ministry got people to listen ,they were only listening to see if he was the expected one that was to set their nation as administrators of the kingdom without end age. When it became obvious that he would not fulfil that role they chose Barabus to be set free. Had it not been for the gifts of the Spirit of God that attended the apostles ministry the legend of Jesus may never have been written .(We still had over 1000 years of hand copying to get our current bibles) . The down side of using divine intervention for unquivicated guidance and also attention grabbing is that Jesus could be assumed to be everyone's " fairy godmother" . TO BE CONTINUED.... Paul our Pharisee of the Pharisees presented that Jesus took blood into the heavenly and in consequence the whole of Christianity today believes that we are saved by the death of Jesus . There is nothing in the ceremonial service between the wave sheaf of barley (offered the first Sunday after Passover) and Penticost's two wave loaves of wheat,that refers to a blood offering .Also we must bear in mind that the transgressions of all who are recorded in the Lamb's book of life have the transgressions on their life record transferred to the life record of the scape goat ( who iniated all transgression through temptation).This is done by Jesus when He announces the close of probation for the living. This is typologised in the ceramonial service by setting aside a day now referred to as " the day of atonement" . In Leviticus when it refers to " a ' day' of atonement" ,the meaning of day is given in Genesis 1: 4 ....TO BE CONTINUED.... How was that new church to be brought back to life?? The answer is in the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years . The 12 years represent the mindset that came from the apostles revealing the " Son of God" to the world with signs and wonders following .The healing came to her when she took hold of the hem of Jesus garment, i.e. she began to keep the ten commandments the same way Jesus did (by praying to God for grace to overcome temptations propensities and to be a blessing to all). If you read the narratives in Matthew ,Mark and Luke leading up to the restoration to life of that new church ,you will see the casting out of life's bad habits,the subduing of Satan's influence ,the power of God to sustain . Gold is faith .and as the dross is to be removed from the Gold so false doctrine must be removed from faith . Better to be cold towards God because we refuse to pray for grace and so remain under conviction ,than to bury that conviction in the blood and not recognise the need to pray. 10 is the number for life for unless we keep all ten then the life God is offering is not available . God however goes beyond just setting ten constraints , He chooses to give us ongoing guidance through His Son and enables ongoing obedience by granting grace to all who ask for it to stay in his will. As the Father and His Son are essential to the efficacy of the ten commandments then the number ten for life becomes 12 . In the confusion of life's meaning that Satan has brought into society this 12 has been lost sight of .At the commencement of the set apart people of God ,God used the 12 sons of Jacob and then on the heels of Jesus 12 desiples. Now at the end of time we have the ten commandments and the enabling of the Father and His Son. Don't be afraid of being burned by the light .
