Though i am an Indian who has never set foot in UK, i am realy concerned about whats happening such as large scale influx of illegal immigrants, grooming gangs etc. Do sincerely hope that Farage can set things right.

@ we don't have mass immigration, we have a demographic and a failing economy that will increasingly rely on immigrants, we have runaway wealth inequality (eg the multi millionaire farridge vs the idiots that think he's going to be their saviour) and to top it all off, an alarming amount of turnips with echo chambers willing to throw away critical thinking skills in favour of being cult groomed into self destruction by the likes of reform. I voted for Reform at the last election before realising that the Reform Party don’t have very many experienced politicians in their political party. Now just think about that for a minute. How is that practically going to work when political parties usually take decades of investment to establish themselves as a credible, trustworthy political force that would be palatable to a majority British electorate? Most of Reforms political candidates, you have most probably never even heard of before, and they would not have much, if any political experience should they ever get voted in. This simply wouldn’t work and would be a complete catastrophe for the UK, should it ever happen. 😂

Bust the uni party? Really, with so many tory mps joining reform, it's hardly any different to the tories. These are the idiots who had 14 years to speak up,and act yet did nothing of significance, they bowed down to staying silent and going along for the ride because the money was good. Now they foresee losing their seats and dec8de to join farage as he's one of them originally, so they are happy to continue towing the line and being equally useless for reform as they were in the tories. These are not people of conviction, these mps could have stood for reform pre general election but chose to stand for the tories and only now not liking Badenock as their leader they want to leave. REFORM IS SIMPLY THE NEW TORY PARTY All Farage is doing is rejoining the tories by creating a new tory party, can't you see that?

That has been stopped. There have been changes to the UK student visa policy regarding bringing family members. As of January 2024, international students can only bring their dependants (partners and children under 18) if they are enrolled in specific postgraduate research programs, such as PhDs or other research-based degrees. This means that undergraduate students and those on taught postgraduate programs are no longer allowed to bring their families with them2. This change aims to ensure that students coming to the UK are primarily focused on their studies and not on bringing extended family members. It's a significant shift in policy and reflects the government's efforts to manage immigration more effectively.

@@TimComley For sure. Jordon Peterson wrote in his book “Maps of Meaning” that he stopped being a Socialist or wishing to enter politics when he became concerned about ideologies that claim we can make things better by fixing other people. He wrote about getting involved in university politics and wrestling with his feelings about the conservatives he met who tended to be people who he respected on a personal level as people who had done well in life and conducted themselves well. Conversely he’s said he found his fellow socialists to be small and envious. He wrote about how reading George Orwell’s “The Road to Wigan Peer” (good book.) completely changed his outlook and he concluded that socialists don’t actually like the poor that much, they just hate the rich. I think many working class people have drawn the same conclusions about Labour that “they don’t like us” and “they’re not for us”. Equally the Conservative Party has not been very conservative. They both try to just carry on doing what benefits the elite and nobody has convinction about anything in case it rocks the boat - it’s self-serving. Farage is very good at feathering his own nest, and may well be an “opportunist” as many people say, but at least he sticks his head above the parapet and says things that stimulate a genuine debate about the concerns people are made to feel are off limits for discussion.

I support both but don’t see Mr Robinson in parliament. This fervour and supposed antagonism has been artificially whipped up by a small group of his fans. I’m more concerned about Farage’s U-turns on immigration since he received a donation from a person of a non British religion. All donations ought to be made public. For all parties.
