You can the headset connected and have CarPlay at the same time. Under sound volume switch the headset to the sound to headset.

Oh I know. I did that it’s just not as clear but I found out it’s a CarPlay requirement and not a Harley issue.

I rode the 2024 Street Glide and I would not be upset owning one. I was quite pleased with it. I rode the road glide too but the street glide felt so much nicer to me. And I'm not a bagger riding kind of gal either. I love the Softails, along with sportier bikes. I was quite pleased with that street glide. It looks nice, it rides nice, it's got some KICK to it wide open throttle. I quite enjoyed that test ride. I got to test ride it with my GF on the back too. So I got to really give that bike a shot for a short bit of time.

You can hear the CVO speakers at highway speed. A couple of other notes: get you some good highway pegs and a properly fitted windshield. They are lifesavers on long rides. I feel you on the Apple CarPlay. Not confident HD will fix it though, it’s been that way since they added CarPlay years ago.

@@theinfinitrydaunfortunately Apple dictates that you need a microphone connected to use CarPlay so this is not within Harley’s control. But as you briefly mentioned, a $15 adapter from Amazon can solve this issue and give you access to CarPlay 100% of the time without connecting your headset

@@theinfinitryda 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾I assumed it was more than just HD being extra, just couldn’t remember the reason. For the 2023 and older, a simple software flash will fix it. Not sure if they have the flash for the 2024, but the jumper works.

Hm talk about luxury on 2 wheels. I have an old 46 year old rice grinder and I have owned 30+ years. It has 25k on it and nothing on it it was not born with pain in the ass hunt for OE. Now finally have highway pegs on it. Re did the seat back to OE. New tail light Lense from Germany. But it is capable now of long rides. It's an old Suzuki GS750E. With a Vetter fairing.

The requirement of using a headset to access CarPlay is from Apple, not Harley Davidson. It’s a liability issue. My latest video shows my fix for this and it’s working perfectly.
