Going at the very top of a building in a zombie apocalypse is actually a bad idea since your only escape logically is blocked, so basically you just trapped yourself so I suggest you find a near the ground level building or in a building with just a little bit of height so that you can have a overview and also barracade some exits but not all of them just the obvious ones where some people and zombies would probably wander around in, so that you have a emergency escape exit and well-built safehouse

The most important question in a zombie apocalypse scenario is this : When a body becomes reanimated, does the process of decomposition continue, or does it stop? If it continues, within a short span of time most would simply rot until they fell into a pile of bones and goo. In hotter areas they would rot much more quickly, where it was cold a bit slower, but still within months they too would rot to the point where they were no longer a threat. If the process of decomposition stops then the threat is going to continue for much longer. You touched on some of these points.

I really enjoyed this video, and i imagine most people who enjoyed this video want to know how a more "down to earth" zombie experience would be, theres this survival game called "project zomboid" which, instead of its peers, actually shows how a regular citizen would "survive" in a zombie apocalipse, its brutally hard (every run starts with "this is how you died") but its the most accurate out of them all, for example, for most players using guns is rather worthless, due to them attracting way more zombies than you can fend off, its truly a very accurate experience to what would happen in real life.

Do not try to go to a gun shop, that place will be overrun fast, go to your local Walmart and grab every knife/sword you can get. Grab all the water you can, most people will think about food and grab all the food they can find. WATER IS MORE IMPORTANT. If one assumption is wrong, I wouldn't bet against others without proof. I don't have a problem with the idea of heading north, but I wouldn't do it without a way to get back if the zombies don't freeze solid. 1. Avoid highly populated areas, this is a given 2. Don't go to major grocery stores, it'll be a bloodbath, try to instead go to stores that have snack foods but are not primarily grocers, they are less likely to be instantly torn apart and crowded 3. The cold is your friend. In an actual zombie apocalypse scenario, the infected/undead will not be able to handle freezing temperatures, leading to frostbite, their limbs freezing up, and braindeath. If you live in the U.S. or Europe/Continental Asia, head north. If you live in South America or Africa, head south. @howardoller4432 жыл бұрын
Many times, anxiety or concern is a result of sin, and the cure is to deal with the sin. Psalm 32:1-5 says that the person whose sin is forgiven is blessed, and the heavy weight of guilt is taken away when sins are confessed. Is a broken relationship creating anxiety? Try to make peace (2 Corinthians 13:11). Is fear of the unknown leading to anxiety? Turn the situation over to the God who knows everything and is in control of it all (Psalm 68:20). Are overwhelming circumstances causing anxiety? Have faith in God. When the disciples became distressed in a storm, Jesus first rebuked their lack of faith, then rebuked the wind and the waves (Matthew 8:23-27). As long as we are with Jesus, there is nothing to fear.

I often thought during a zombie outbreak, a ship might be a good alternative. However there’s fuel to think about, maintaining it because an average Joe is not gonna know how to do all that. Plus there’s weather hazards then there’s international boundaries you might consider. Pirates and navies might see a lone ship or boat and decide to scavenge it for whatever might be useful and if uninfected people are onboard, they may potentially eliminate them. Sailing to a remote island might be safe for a while, however if it doesn’t have enough food or water and your transportation gets damaged, you might not be able to leave…

I'm not a lucid dreamer because I can't control my dreams. Now I usually don't dream or remember them. When I was younger, during the last part of the dreams, I could do things like overcoming the limits like jumping dozens of meters, and destroying concrete walls by running in to it, or been immune to projectiles, fire or drowning. Still even with those abilities i was limited in what I can do, so nightmare were still nightmares.
@shadw47012 жыл бұрын
@@emib6599 Contrary to popular belief lucid dreaming isn't about the control you have or even how much you have. Its simply knowing you're in a dream. Dream control and lucid dreaming are most often connected however it's possible to achieve a level of control outside of being lucid. You always dream just dont remember all of them. I highly recommend keeping a dream journal, this will help a lot with remembering dreams. Often times dream control is limited to your mindset, lets say you want to do something but it doesn't happen, this can often be because you don't believe it will. You could reframe your mindset, like pretending you're in vr and that should help you gain more control
@shadw47012 жыл бұрын
@@alcblazee7271 Keep a dreal journal and write down the date of your dreams. Look for things that tend to happen in your dreams and take note of them. These are called dream signs and are great for reality checks. Dream journaling is also great for remembering more dreams and you'll even notice your dreams becoming more vivid. A reality check is where you ask yourself "am I dreaming" and test to see if you're dreaming while fully self aware. Another great question to ask yourself is "how did I get here" and retracing your steps. The check itself can be any number of things like plugging your nose to see if you can breathe, reading or looking at the time and looking away to see if it changes, ect. Some are more reliable than others. Some examples of less/unreliable reality checks are the classic "pinch me I must be dreaming" because you can feel being pinched and pain as well, and the finger through palm trick is also pretty unreliable. Often times people will tell you to count your fingers or look at your hands, in my experience these work sometimes but not in most cases. Choose at least 3 reality checks to practice during the day, even have an object, word place, anything that you can use to remind you to do reality checks at least a few times a day. When doing a reality check be sure to take the questions seriously and do them with your full self awareness otherwise it's unlikely to really do anything. Techniques are optional and what techniques work best for others may not work best for you. Everyone's different. Meditation is also optional though it can help you allot. Lastly, there's a big misinformation problem with lucid dreaming. Misinformation is all over the internet but it's most prevalent in places like tiktok and the "shifting" community. Explore lucid dreaming is also a pretty bad source. Not saying all of his information is wrong, but mostly surface level. He's also used bots to grow his channel which is why no other lucid dreaming channel is near that level. Some good lucid dreaming channels are tipharot, giz edwards and lucid dream portal. The time it takes to have a lucid dream is different for everyone but it should take no less than a year. Sorry if this is information overload

As an Alaskan, I feel this severely underestimates how difficult it would be to survive winter without modern conveniences. It would take A LOT of fuel. Trying to gather everything you need before becoming snowed in would be rough. There is a lot of wildlife but there’s also a great deal of land. If you’re not experienced, wandering off in the snow looking is a terrible idea. And all of this is if you can make it up here at all. The road system is pretty limited and I highly doubt that anyone would be able to make it all the way up the Alcan Highway through Canada to Alaska without the road being blocked in at least one spot. Northern Canada is also quite cold and rural. Honestly, you’d be better off stopping there rather than going all the way to Alaska.

Dead bodies would be decayed enough that the zombies wouldn't be able to walk after a few short weeks. The time they took to go to Alaska, the first wave of people who died on the first few days will be gone. In fact, here's the BODY DECOMPOSITION TIMELINE : 24-72 hours after death - the internal organs decompose. 3-5 days after death - the body starts to bloat and blood-containing foam leaks from the mouth and nose. 8-10 days after death - the body turns from green to red as the blood decomposes and the organs in the abdomen accumulate gas. Several weeks after death - nails and teeth fall out. 1 month after death - the body starts to liquify.

Most zombie scenarios tend to gloss over how zombies stick around past the first few weeks. Assuming the most plausible classic irrational zombies without magic they need sustenance somehow, and they can't stockpile and organize rations, much less produce their own. If they rely on feeding on humans (and maybe the occasional animal), then the supply will very quickly run out either way, and most of the epidemic should burn itself out within a few weeks long before sustainable long-term survival becomes an issue. So from that logic, the most reliable no-nonsense strategy would probably just be to barricade yourself in as soon as you have a few weeks of basic supplies available. It wouldn't make for a very exciting story though :)

Yeah, that would be the best place to go. Plus if you are going to hide out, build defenses, and secure your living space...there's a lot of good stuff for that purpose. You get tools, weapons, and building supplies in one spot. Plus if everyone's racing first to the gun store, you are less likely to get shot while loading up.

I absolutely would not be in a high rise. We don’t have any. I would go to my camp. Plant crops. Hunt for food. Utilize my water well. Fortify my shelter. Form an alliance with the other locals. Wait for other family members to arrive. Help friends that need it. Fight when it is necessary. And never hesitate to do what needs to be done.

Zombies are always in hostile mode, so their hearts are most probably filled with adrenaline. I don't think they will freeze to death that easily. A cold but populated place would still be vulnerable to zombies. Also wild animals would most definitely not eat zombie flesh, it's rotten. Decaying idea is, eh. Depends on the zombie kind. It's probably caused by viruses or fungi, so there is something that controls the body, it's not dead.

Love all these popularly held "facts" that are known about fictional zombies, as well as preparing for them. LOL I agree with a lot of commenters. I would worry MUCH more about desperate people than I would about most other things. Anymore, people fail to plan, then panic when something happens. COVID once again proved that to be true. Learn basic survival and medical skills, as well as basic combat, hunting/trapping, fishing and foraging for things in your general area. Books are good too in case the web is unavailable. Planning ahead on supplies is good too. You don't have to be a "prepper" and have stockpiles of stuff, but sometimes simple things work. For instance, instead of storing hundreds of gallons of water, keep several types of water purification. If you get a firearm, get plenty of ammo, and learn how to shoot it and practice so you can shoot it well. Lock it up when you are not using it.

What would happen to the nuclear reactors without proper maintenance? I think that we wouldn't die to the zombies, but to the aftermath of the nuclear explosions like the fallout, the radiation and the nuclear winter
@darkaxel19912 жыл бұрын
Reactors don't explode like nukes when they melt down. The reactor buildings might explode like in Fukushima or Chernobyl, but it's nothing like a nuke going off. IIRC, those explosions were caused by steam and hydrogen. Places downwind of reactors will get contaminated, but nuclear winter isn't in the cards.

Reactors don't explode, they melt down. So there would be a fair amount of fall out from any reactor that didn't SCRAM the core before zombies arrived.

If you can head to the fire station/firehouse and barricade the door. Most fire stations have axes, thick clothing helmets and lots of water. Big water tanks in fire trucks that can be filled if you find a freshwater spring or other clean water source.

The amount of variables makes it really hard to plan for a zombie invasion. First question, what type of zombies are they. There are so many zombie shows and movies and games, that all of them are different. If it's like left4dead, there are special zombies that make things a lot harder. It depends on what type of zombie you're looking at

There’s two kinds of people when it comes to a zombie apocalypse. There’s those that want to fight and survive. Then there’s those that want to see how much heinous, disgusting stuff they can do when there’s no law.
