Honestly the wrong question and I'm disappointed at the lack of focus around the story of the FIA President and swearing. You barely touched on it. The McLaren wing is a minor thing in comparison. The swearing issue runs a lot deeper than drivers being asked to cut down on swearing and journalists like The Inside Line have a responsibility to talk about it and expose it. You can tell by the comments just how much of a bigger issue it is and you guys have clearly dropped the ball on it. Ben Sulayem needs to go!

Off track dramas definitely have had an effect on RedBull. Never thought I’d say I agree with Jos Verstappen but it looks like he was correct when he said Horner will tear the team apart. The treatment of Ricciardo in Singapore shows the team are headless chickens fight now, a simple media release earlier in the week about Lawson getting his chance in a car would have been the way to go.

RedBull is in trouble, big trouble. There is more behind the scenes to losing the constructor's title than what most understand. Sponsor deals, payouts, they have been hemorrhaging staff left and right because everyone sees the writing on the wall. between Horner and Marko's infighting they've wrecked the squad with division. All of the negative talk about Perez being a poor driver only now they turn around and the engineering dept apologizes to him for ignoring his complaints for 2 yrs as they see what he's been complaining about the entire time is actually true and a real problem. Turns out the Mexican knew what he was saying all along but tool ate the damage is done. Max is almost guaranteed to leave and become a headache for someone else. Checo will just retire, he's rich and doesn't need the money and with him leaving the funding for the team will dry up. They will struggle to fund wind tunnel time, they will absolutely lose major sponsors, their development will reach new lows. Welcome to Sauber territory. Champions till 2028 my ass LOL.

@AndrewVanDay because right now in this moment he has that status of best driver on the grid. Many team principles agree with that and he will use it to leverage a ride somewhere else. I'm not a fan Boi of him but many are and right now he knows he can push almost any other driver out if said I have interest in that team. Imagine the sh*t it will stir up when does move and shuffle it causes.

I myself believe having the best car is 99% and sticking with your team through tougher times as well as the good is important (goes for Hamilton too, who may well witness Mercedes resurgence from behind it).

@@AndrewVanDay Well I can't say 99% is the car because you do need someone who knows how to give real working feedback to the engineers to make improvements. It's one of the reasons why Yuki will never advance, he is almost child like for communication and his feed back to the engineers is of little use. All those team principles drool over Max and Hamilton. I cannot stand either of them. George as soon as he joined Merc changed his attitude so much he became a snob and I hate listening to him. It'll be funny to see how Toto coddles Kimi next season and craps on George for not being perfect. I think 2025 will be a waste of a season all around for everyone. 2026 will be a huge reset, probably boring season with a lot of struggles from all the teams.

Ben Sulayem is trying to push his personal and religious values onto the sport. He needs replacing and fast. He talks about responsibility but F1 still has gambling and alcohol sponsors and still has a large number of locations on the calendar where wars and genocides are actively happening as well as countless human rights violations. Fans are not blind. His "if we dont talk about it they wont see it" approach is why he needs to go. If swearing generated cash F1 would be a curse-fest.

Hamilton has every right to call out racism when he sees it. He hardly ever swears on the radio, if ever, his complaint is making the unnecessary comparison with rap music which is overwhelming performed by black artists, suggesting it's OK for black people but swear and white people shouldn't. Totally agree with the banning of swearing on team radio. It is childish and unnecessary. Verstappen is the worst offender and it just serves to dislike him more. Even Billy Connolly knows when swearing is not appropriate! Hamilton is the least potty mouthed and it serves to admire him more. He has a point about a racial element as most rappers are black. There was no need to make that comparison.
