This is why I don't invite organic formulators to my parties 😒. I love working with both natural and synthetics. I love using vitamins, acids, and actives. Organic formulating feels like working with both hands tied behind your back. Plus it drives up cost when you have a perfectly safe and similar ingredient right there in stock. Anyways, thanks for the video. Could you show how to use beer 🍺 in formulating? Is it even possible? 🤔

One thing I have always wondered is why more 100% natural products don't formulate with actives such as retinol, vitamin c, glycolic acids, etc..?

They are hard to stabilise - and retinol is not natural. Its identical to nature, but it is not natural and therefore not permitted in an organic product or one claiming/certified to be all natural. Thanks for watching! They actually can be irritating, and they are not actually natural - they are nature identical, but synthetically made for our industry to match what is in nature. They also require a very low pH to be effective, so they are not my favourite to use. I do use them occasionally, where the formulation suits.
