Usually with bands, the lead singer is the most prominent figure, with different clothing or a different position. But with the internet it just looks like a group of friends, no scratch that. Just wanna say that this song is fucking amazing. Syd said they wrote this song about her dating an activist, who didn't know what self care meant. The activist always did for others and didn't know when to stop. Always in the street, protesting and was a righteous individual. This is lyrically brilliant. I lost a loved one to police brutality and protested non stop for 2 years. Lost a ton of weight, skin was fucked, mental health was shit. When I met my current partner, this is basically what she said to me ... in song form. I stopped protesting and came to the conclusion that I had to close that chapter of my life in order to heal and move on. Cried so hard listening to this song on the release night. THANK YOU THE INTERNET! Between Penthouse cloud, Missing You, Stay the night, and It gets better (with time). I honestly feel like my life for the past 3.5 years has been summed up into 4 songs.

Mystical music with a silky smooth voice as icing..along with a innovative drum track..makes this song a timeless classic. I love keyboard sounds more than any instrument but there's something about the silence around the projections from the strings on a guitar..any type of guitar..another dimension of sound is always created. And a distorted lead guitar is the sweetest sound I've ever heard.
