More amazing and bizarre things to visit in Rome: - The keyhole at the Kinghts of Malta - The underground caves with pure blue waters and stalactites - The Museum of the Souls of Purgatory in the neogothic church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - Little London: a street that resembles the way London streets are - The daily firing canon on the Janiculum Hill - The Capuchin Crypt, there are bones, bones everywhere - The Mouth of Truth - The Arco of the Acetari - The Lovers Walking Path on Mount Mario, the tallest of Rome's hills - The mirror in Saint Ignatius of Loyola Church along with the illusion of the dome and the ceilings' frescoes - The Water Clock in Villa Borghese - The mechanical painting of Pieter Paul Rubens in the church of Santa Maria in Vallicella - The Coppede' neighborhood - The EUR neighborhood - The MAXXI Museum of contemporary art - The Vicus Caprarius - The Casa delle civette - The Heart of Nero (Il cuore di Nerone) in Piazza San Pietro - The Bar Canova Tadolini - The Palazzo Zuccari - The Tempietto del Bramante - The Chiostro di san cosimato - The Antica farmacia della scala - The Arco dei banchi - The Passetto del biscione - The Galleria Borromini in Palazzo Spada - The Stadio di Domiziano and the Serpens Ultor - The Statua di Pasquino - The Colonna delle piene of the Tiber River - The Home Museum of Hendrik Andersen - The Pyramid of Caius Cestius and the Protestant cimitary next to it

Thank you so much for your recommendation to walk the Appian Way on a Sunday! We took your advice and not only was the walk amazing, our taxi driver gave us a fantastic tour along the way. I cannot tell you how helpful and enriching it was to be able to speak Italian in Rome. Many of the locals, including store/museum employees, restaurant servers, and taxi drivers do not speak much English. Now I know where Roberto Benigni lives! Still waiting for his dinner invite. ;)

My last visit to Rome touring Castel Sant’Angelo we came to an open gate and walked the whole passetto and I realized we were the only ones on the path and the Vatican was getting closer. But thought not much of it as the Castel had just opened. Suddenly a man wearing a Suit came running asking us to please turn around. He said it was their fault for leaving the gate open. I looked up that night where we had been and was pleasantly thrilled.

Wow! One of the most spot on, informative and interesting videos about Rome. My hometown. Also, always get a guide when you visit historical sites and galleries. You can obliviously pass in front of incredible masterpieces or features without an expert guide! They can tune the information to your level of knowledge or interest, and are generally fun and entertaining. It's better to save by seeing something less but get a guide for the attractions you visit!

Hi, I am a Roman citizen, congratulations on your very useful and interesting guide. Allow me to suggest another unusual area to visit to add to your list, I'm talking about the E.U.R. located in the south-west area of Rome and easily reachable by underground (line B, EUR Fermi stop). I have seen most of your suggested places researching well, before l visited Roma many times. It is a fascinating ancient City, l can not get enough off ever. Every time l am there, l discover new treasures. How ever, l wonder why there is so little about the recent history, architecture in EUR - Esposizione Universale Roma with the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana (1938-43)...the Benito Mussolini era. The fascist architecture of EUR was used by famous Italian film directors like M. Antonioni 1962 movie L’Eclisse, Bertolucci’s 1970 movie THE CONFORMIST, Fellini’s 8 1/2, And Boccaccio’70... Also , outside Roma the marvellous Tivoli Villa d’Este, Villa Adriana. I visited these places every time l got a bit tired of the hustle bastle of Roma. It was a great pleasure to see all these cultural, and ancient places again through your eyes, and information. Thank you. ❤🇮🇹 Greetings from Melbourne, AUS
