A lot of awesome cars at the Spring Rod Run in Pigeon Forge this year. Let us know if your car is in the video. Which car is your favorite?

Thanks. I was only out there for about 3-4 hours, so I missed a lot of stuff. I'll try to get more in the next rod run video.

Haha, dibs on that. We used to do that too. This was a really good crowd. I am uploading the F100 Grand Nationals video tomorrow. It has some trucks on the strip and all the trucks that were at the show.

No one gonna mention the UFOs and aliens in the crowd? 😅 Your videos will be popular when people realize you're telling a sci-fi story in the background. I just wish you'd tell us which videos have the aliens and stuff in them.

Another nice video angry vampire Roo. I always wonder what happened to those 1000s of cars, show cars, street hotties etc from the car magazines of the 80s+. Not to mention all the Rod magazines, and Muscle car magazines, 100000s of them, all real nice. I know the US has 340 million people + 10 Million illegals, but, Where did all those cars go? they weren't scrapped....Sad to see old fat boomers sitting in their hot cars/trucks/rods etc. We forget that many were in their 30s in the 90s and 20s in the 80s. Just think of all the guys in their 30s and 40s back in the 80s, who built up cars......rip guys.
@TheInvisibleRedneck7 ай бұрын
Thanks. A lot, of not most, of those cars are in private museums now. It's surprising how many people have collected cars as an investment. The big companies like Ford and Chevy have their own museums, but on top of that, they also partner with collectors and their private museums. You may not think to look for it, but most cities you go too will have some sort of car museum. I imagine a lot of the newer cars (90s+) fell victim to planned obsolesce. Seems like most of the people want cars older than 1990, usually older than 1980. I've seen a few people who have restored stuff from the 90s. I have a 2002 (year not model) BMW that is pretty much like new, so there are still some out there. A lot more if those cars are scrapped than your night realize. People take them to the scrap yards here for a few hundred dollars. Plenty of them just rotting out in fields too. I found an old farm in my area that has probably 15 classic cars just sitting out in a barn. They're not restored, but they're not in bad shape. I know a guy down in Texas that has hundreds of classics in a few old chicken coops (his farm slaughtered chickens before he retired). He's selling them off 1 at a time. I suppose there are people like that across the country and around the world too.

😆. Why should the cars stay the same as they are from the factory? Every single person has modified their car in some way. If you buy tires that are a different brand than it came with, you've modified it. Hang an air freshener from the mirror. . . modified. Change wiper brands, modified. Change oil filter brand, modified. Steering wheel cover, modified. Many cars are built from the factory to be modified. . . on top of that, almost every car brand started as a person modifying or improving a previous model. So, whether you like it or not, cars are made to be modified. Many cars are built from scratch.
