If a player on the bench runs ONTO THE FIELD to get involved in a brawl or punch on, then yes. But there was about 10 QLDers pushing and shoving Luai and To'o over the sideline right next to the bench. Of course Murray is gonna go in and pull his teammates out. He didn't run onto the field, he didn't throw any punches. Gordie is making a false equivalency and was fucking desperate for a send off, because he knows that's the only way QLD could've won.

Secondly once Murray got involved NSW had 14 players on the field (illegal interchange in the NRL you would lose 2 points). Thirdly Olakau'atu was not a player so his involvement should have been dealt with by the police. Billy Slater won 8 series as a player and 2 as a coach. NSW had a very disciplined team, hence the low penalties against us; we knew coming to Suncorp that we wouldn't win if we played loose with the rules of footy. The number of penalties that NSW didn't get for escorts, holding legs, holding down the ruck, not moving even when the ref called release and move, taking out the player jumping for the ball, hammers knock on, hunts shoulder charge... the list goes on. Qld was just outplayed in this series, but at least they're still Queenslanders...whatever that means.

dce started something minor with a minor act, but as soon as i saw nanai run in like he did i knew it was gonna be penalty to the blues... i noticed the tackles seemed longer right from the very first tackle, but i didnt sense any inconsistency either way... a 6 again on tackle one is not the same as a 6 again on tackle 5, so need to be a bit cautious with the analysis of a simple total 6 again stat

I'm a QLDer, born and bred in Brisbane, but NSW was overall the better team. It was a great game of footy, but we lost...that's all there is to it. NSW played better than we did, simple as that. Gorden was an incredibly passionate player for QLD, but I've said it on here before, I can't stand him on NRL 360. Buzz's point on Fifita was spot on, but it's not why we lost though. Our outside backs had no ball and our middles just weren't punching through. NSW defended even better than we did. Tommy Dearden and Patty Carrigan were definitely our stand out players.
