Thats a great description, 2 guitars having a shoot-out. For me, it really comes down to the fact that he's putting on that spell and the guitars are symbolically doing it at that point. Great song.

Back in the day ... Vancouver. 5th Day night club. Circa 1971. CCR dominated the play list. Catchy pop songs. 30 years later somewhere on the internet I heard ''I Put a Spell on You.'' Hmmm. Wow. Now, 50 years later, it just rips me up. So, so powerful. Fogerty's singing rips you open, as he spills his guts out. Amazing guitar, drums. Haunting. So very glad Fogerty got the rights to his songs back. He just keeps on trucking. He is a treasure.

Enjoyed your reaction to CCR. If you haven’t, I highly recommend you react to the Allman Brothers song Whipping Post (make sure it’s the studio version, not a live version). There’s a great video on KZbin of this song where the lyrics are burnt into wood. I think you will really like this song.

Screaming Jay Hawkins had the original, but this cover blows that away. Now please hear this. I click on your channel for the 1st time and see I put a spell on you, then hear 10 minutes of two useless clips before the the song song begins. Improvement? Play the song without all that BS before the song even begins.
